Mason Apartments consists of 138 residential apartments and when complete will be one single building consisting of 11,416 SQM of residential floor space excluding the basements.
Lords Group have been engaged under an ECI contract for this project. Utilising our experience, the Lords Group team are currently working through civil and infrastructure designs, economising the structure component of the building and using our expertise to provide recommendations on façade details, services and overall building performance and efficiencies.
The team delivered a remarkable achievement early in the ECI phase, redesigning the basement through a Section 96 to economise a 3 level basement into a 2 level basement. This achievement alone reduced the basement size by approximately 3,500 SQM eliminating a full level of basement piling/shotcreting/anchoring/excavation and a full suspended structural slab and delivering significant savings to the client in the form of both programme and budget.
