We are very pleased to announce that Lords Group has been appointed by Fortis as the preferred delivery partner for the design and construction of the next Eastern Suburbs icon ‘MONA’ Darling Point.
In a sign of the continued trust and strength of the relationship, this project will be the 7th project delivered for Fortis via the negotiated Early Contractor Involvement model and is a testament to the delivery team's success to date.
Having been involved in the project since inception, Lords Group have led the pre-construction process in partnership with Fortis and Neoscape, and have collaborated with MHNDU, Richards Stanisich, Adams Consulting Engineers, Erbas, Concise Certification, and Wyer & Co, to achieve the clients pre-construction objectives and design intent.
The project scope includes the construction of 24 bespoke apartments over a commercial retail level and 2 level basement, bespoke façade constructed with Krause hand made bricks, interiors featuring custom format engineered flooring, natural stone benchtops, wine fridges, fire places, Miele & Wolf appliances and a full level penthouse crowning the building featuring a roof terrace with its own private gardens and plunge pool overlooking Rushcutters Bay, and the Sydney city skyline.
This project award continues to reinforce the Lords Group teams experience, capabilities and strong representation in the delivery of complex and luxury residential new builds. We look forward to bringing the Fortis vision to fruition and delivering another Eastern Suburbs icon.
Construction work has commenced and project completion is expected 1st Quarter 2024.
